transfer to CA

I am a student at ANC in pre medicine for genetics/human. I have completed 40 credits and followed another course at Genetech institute on basic genetics. I would like to transfer to CA for the fall 2010 semester. I would like to know details on the options available to UCLA for a direct transfer and a transfer through a community college.

I have no idea about transferring students, but i guess normally for fall 10 application deadlines for UCLA are gone!
but I have some friends over here who did their first two years at Santa monica community college and transferred to UCLA for rest. So it is possible, only thing is u have to find out more details about getting visa, since community colleges are not ranked, you might wanna show them specific reasons why you go there and your solid plan!
