Education UK exhibitions in Colombo and Kandy will once again offer students and parents an opportunity to speak to representatives from institutions in the UK. The event in Colombo will be the 17th, and this year it is expected to attract 60 institutions!

Colombo Hilton : 20 and 21 February, from 11:00 to 18:00
Kandy Queens Hotel : Tuesday 23 February, from 12:30 to 17:30

Things to do before visiting the Education UK Exhibition:
1. Decide which course(s) you are interested in studying and to do this,
· Identify your own personal strengths & weaknesses.
· Explore opportunities and barriers in the environment.
· Speak to your teacher, parents and counsellors at the Education UK, British Council.
· Visit the Education UK at the British Council and refer to publications such as the Careers 2009/ 10
· Attend a FREE presentation on studying in the UK – call Education UK on 011-4521521/ 4521576/ 4521577
· Register online and obtain a FREE entrance pass to the education UK exhibition 2010 (online registrations will be closed from Friday 5 February)
2. Short list the institutions you are interested in;
· Not all the institutions exhibiting will offer the course you are looking for. Focus on visiting stalls of institutions that have the courses you are interested in.
· Visit websites beforehand to help you shortlist - check the participating institutions in Colombo and Kandy
